    With thousands of chefs competing in the job market, it is essential to prove your culinary competency. Certification through the American Culinary Federation demonstrates skill, knowledge and professionalism to the food service industry.

     Testing for all certifications

    Please check out the certification page.

    Pre-approval from the National Office is a prerequisite.

    You can download the application and submit it or the preferred method is registering on line.

    Please register with the national office for the exam.

    • St Paul Farmers Market

    This is the 4th Annual Farmers Market Competition in partnership with the St Paul Farmers Market. The farmers and Public have received this very well over the years and are excited to see it coming back again this year.

    The menu has been set by the lead judge and it is as follows: Pork Sirloin, Smoked turkey legs, Sweet Potatoes, Parsnips and broccoli.

    Cost $150 for members and $200 for non-members.

    We are allowing payment by paypal this year to make it easier for competitors to pay online as well by check or money order.

    Some things that may be covered:

    • Everything fungus.  Growing mushrooms, tour of facility, who he currently sells to, what problems arise during the growing/production of fungi
    • Patio space on the Mississippi river for Chef’s playground once again.
    • Space opens to the public for sales of mushrooms at 11am on Sundays.
    • create dishes and allow sampling by the public at the end of the education segment.
